This is my collograph that I created from white card, Considering I wanted my theme to look consistent throughout my work I chose to include more cogs which is recognized throughout my work. I had only layered it once as I began to think it wouldn't print too well if I did anymore; As most of the detail was included on this one layer. However maybe it would have looked better if it did have more layers towards the inner part of the cog. Collograph Prints -
This was my collograph piece once I had painted it in white emulsion paint. Once I had finished painting it, I left it aside to dry. Once it was I then began varnishing it, making sure I had covered everywhere I could get to. Finally once the Varnishing was complete I left it inside the tank to dry, it is now ready for my prints to be produced.
